Gmail is GDriving to 9000MB
Gmail is increasing its storage size from 2G to about 9G according to this Mashable piece. Sooner Google will have to roll this out to all users. But this is nothing compared to Yahoo's unlimited storage, which was effective couple of months back. Still, this will work for me, as my Gmail storage is somewhere 70%-ish.
Mashable also notes that GDrive is the service that will manage storage upgrades for your Gmail, Picasa, and possibly GDocs accounts.
